Freez'n for a Reason!
Dr. Josh and Craig Took the Polar Plunge at Ceasar Creek in Waynesville.
(Jan, 29, 2011)
Dr. Josh and Craig, our vet tech, put on their Halloween costume and jumped in the frigid Ceaser Creek waters to support Ohio's Special Olympics.
"Wow, that was cold!" said Dr. Josh, "It's all for a great cause, I was excited to see so many people out here willing to take the plunge to help the Special Olympics. I look forward to doing it again next year!"
The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support Ohio’s Special Olympics athletes by running, jumping or slowly crawling into frigid winter waters in Ohio. To participate, individuals collect a minimum amount of money in pledges. Participants then make good on collecting their pledges by “Taking the Plunge” at one or more of the scheduled Plunges.
